Text Box: Our Opening Announcement to our clients and our friends at the Bench and the Bar:

We are delighted to announce that on October 1, 2004, Marvin & Henkin opened its offices for the practice of law. On that date, we moved our practices to a newly-renovated eighteenth century building in the center of the Chestnut Hill area of Philadelphia, convenient to Center City and its northern and western suburbs and well-served by adjacent parking and nearby train service. Through cooperative arrangements with valued clients, we have ready access to conference facilities in Center City.

As throughout our careers, we will provide cost-effective and high value-added representation to our clients, particularly when they face sophisticated and complex legal issues. We will employ the latest technology so that our representation continues to be highly responsive and our communication capability seamless. We take pride in our ability to provide this high level of representation across a number of areas and to coordinate our work flexibly and creatively with other counsel and professionals.

Peter Marvin, as he has for the thirty-plus years that he has been in practice, will concentrate on complex litigation and general business counseling. His litigation practice addresses the full range of litigated business issues and includes a special focus on construction-related problems encompassing, for example, bid protests, claims by and against owners and disputes between contractors and subcontractors. In addition to counseling and advocating, he will continue to serve as a neutral, both in mediating disputes and as an arbitrator and special master.

Doron Henkin, as he has for the twenty years that he has been in practice, will concentrate on business counseling and restructuring, real estate, financing, transactions, business acquisitions and sales and debtor-creditor matters. A substantial part of his practice addresses these and diverse other matters as they arise in business bankruptcies, insolvencies and workouts, in which he represents debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, landlords, tenants and trustees, among others. His practice also includes litigating business matters related to his areas of concentration.

In the near future, Nancy Brockway Marvin will begin working with us on certain matters. With her ten years of legal experience, Nancy brings depth, economy and expertise to our undertaking.

We look forward, very much, to continuing to work with you.
